You better sit down when you eat this food because it’s that good 🔥. The chicken souvlaki is total must, full of flavor but also healthy. Also I’ve never had Kolokithokeftedes but get them and thank me later!

We ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and the Moussaka and loved both. Portions were generous, but we finished them during our late lunch visit, needing only a light snack for dinner. We took home ready made trays of Briami and Keftedes and has them on hand when we had a welcome surprise guest the next day. We got 3 satisfying meals out of those two trays, so they're generous, too. Its a small place, and the atmosphere was friendly. We'll be back!

I recently moved into the area and saw this place had great reviews, so I gave it a try and brought my 90-year-old grandma since I wanted somewhere with easy parking, a bit quieter, and good food. First visit and it already felt like one of those spots you’re lucky to find. Everything was fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully made. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything like little touches like the fresh flowers on the table. It all felt very warm and welcoming. They also have homemade meals in the fridge to take home, which I thought was such a good idea for nights you want something comforting without cooking. It’s walking distance for me, has lots of nutritious options, and already feels like a neighborhood gem. Already looking forward to trying coffee and a pastry there this weekend!

Love says it all. The staff at Kriti constructs each dish using fresh, whole ingredients. It shows when someone does their job with their heart and cares for those they serve. I know I can eat here with confidence and simplicity. What a treasure it is to me that I found the Kriti Kitchen.

Wow what a great place. Really pretty dining room with bright white and blue decor. Beautiful sea mural on the wall. The food is so good. We ordered the seasonal salad and the Cretan salad and split the chicken souvlaki. Both salads are among the best we have ever had. We took home the baklava ice cream. Fantastic. This is a top 5 Houston restaurant in an unlikely location. I apologize to the food gods that I didn’t come earlier. Edit: I came back to post a pic of the June 2025 seasonal salad - watermelon and feta w chicken. So good.
